Violet Purcell

Violet J. Cooper Berns Purcell went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 10, 2010. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes with Pastor Terry Anglea officiating. Burial will be at Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery on Lowe Rd. Mrs. Purcell retired 19 1989 from General Foods Corp. after 33 years of service. She enjoyed bowling, watching westerns on T.V. and taking care her dogs. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Bourbonnais.Surviving are her two daughters and son-in-law Chrystal Hutson and Cindy (Dennis) Kallsen all of Kankakee, IL., a sister Mildred Adams of Bourbonnais, two brothers; Harold (Janet) Cooper of Kankakee and Gerald (Margaret) Cooper of Florida, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ruby Cooper, her brother Edward Cooper, and her daughter Cathy Shell.
