Suzanne Sherman

Suzanne Marie (Bragg) Sherman was born on May 5, 1945 and passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Michigan. With her beloved husband of 52 years, Larry, by her side every step of the way, Suzanne was determined to fight until the very end. Our dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother will be missed more than words can ever express. Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Hilda Bragg, and her brother, Jim Bragg. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Bragg) Sherman, her brother Ken Bragg, her children Lawrence Sherman, Kevin (Jennifer) Sherman, Kristine Kling, Shirley (Mike) Garcia, and her grandchildren, Kayla Kling, Devin Garcia, April Sherman and Jacob Sherman.

Family meant everything to Suzanne and it was not unusual for her and Larry to spend hours playing games with their children, enjoying family get-togethers, music, movies, and taking vacations with her family which included trips to Tennessee, Mississippi, and New Orleans. Suzanne loved Elvis and had the opportunity to visit Graceland with her husband. She enjoyed spending time on her computer making digital characters and screensavers, watching Disney movies, and cheering for her favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon. Suzanne was a great mother who was always there for her children, a loving wife and best friend to Larry for 52 years. Her laughter and spirit will be cherished and treasured by her family.

The family will have a memorial celebrating Suzanne’s life on December 14, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. at the Otsego Church of God, 112 Kalamazoo Street, Otsego, MI. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the American Cancer Society.
