Susan A. Schott of Buckingham, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the Miller Center in Kankakee. Mrs. Schott had worked in customer service for Busse and Rieck for nine years and had taught school for two years at Wilmington High School. She was born February 17, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Russel and Genevieve Fosse Wickland. She was a member of the board of directors at Riverside Medical Center and a past president of the Junior League of Kankakee County. She was a volunteer at Riverside Medical Center for 40 years. She helped found and volunteered for the Trained Oncology Volunteer Auxilians [TOVA]. She was involved with the Riverside Auxiliary Scholarship Program. She liked to watch the Chicago Bears and the Washington Huskies football teams. She enjoyed traveling, fashion and modeling. She also loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.Surviving are her husband, Kent Jake Schott, whom she married July 11, 1964 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, Kankakee; one son and daughter-in-law, Erich and Kimberly Schott of Buckingham; one daughter, Erin Williams of Seattle, Washington; and five grandchildren. Her parents are deceased.
