Life Story / Obituary
Stanley L. Weinberg, age 84 of Scotts passed away November 25, 2012 at his home. Stanley was born July 19, 1928 in Vicksburg to Harold & Mary (Waltz) Weinberg. After proudly serving our country in the Army, Stanley returned to the Vicksburg area and became both a cattle and grain farmer. He was inducted into the Michigan Farmer’s Hall of Fame in 1998. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Vicksburg Cemetery. Stanley was preceded in death by his wife Joan in 1994 and his parents. He is survived by his children Steven (Donna) Weinberg, Susan Weinberg, Shelley (Darrell) Peck and Stacey Weinberg, his grandchildren Hannah, Daniel, Megan & Ryan, his great grandchildren Zayne, Kennedy, Lucy & Landon, his sister Ellie (Arthur) Fitzgerald, his brother Milford (Joanna) Weinberg as well as many other relatives.
