Sharon Marie Kime

Sharon Marie Kime, of Kankakee passed away at her home September 22, 2009.She was born on May 14, 1936 in Herscher, IL., the daughter of Durwood and Mary Painter Klemme. Fifty six years ago she married the love of her life Raymond [John] Kime in Kankakee, IL. on February 1, 1953.Sharon was a member of the Bradley Moose Lodge where she was a Collegiate Guide for several years and is a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Kankakee.Her hobbies and other interests include traveling, dancing, playing cards, and most especially her grandchildren and family.Sharon is survived by her son Dale (Pat) Kime of Kankakee, three daughters Linda (Robert) Skeen of Kankakee, Carolyn Kime of Kankakee, and Cheryl Kime of Kankakee.Her grandchildren are Nicole (Robert) Giles, Deanna Skeen, Ryan [Mandy] Kime all of Kankakee, and three great-grandchildren, Arianna, Addison, and Adrienne.Sharon is also survived by three sisters Bonnie (Bill) Gee of Lexington, IL., Connie (Mike) Parker of Bloomington, IL., and Nancy Swoveland of Phoenix AZ., a brother David Smiley of Phoenix, AZ., two sisters-in-law Lois [Jeannie] Brown of Kankakee, IL. and Alice Floyd of Leroy, IL. a brother-in-law Gary (Carroll) Kime of Clifton, IL., and several nieces and nephews.Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her mother and step-father Mary and Harold Smiley, her father and step-mother Durwood and Hazel Klemme, a step-brother James Goben, two sisters-in-law Betty Stang and Norma Gates, and two brothers-in-law Carroll [Fuzz] Eastman and Roger Brown.Sharon will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
