Sandra Johnson

Sandra Kay Johnson of Cadillac formerly of Portage passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 in Cadillac. She was 81. Sandra was born on December 31, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio and later moved to Michigan. She graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in Detroit. Sandra owned and operated a Beauty Shop for 10 years and also was employed at Mueller Plastic Corporation in Portage for 20 years. In 2014 she moved to northern Michigan. She enjoyed going shopping, games, watching TV, vacationing and spending winters in Olive Branch, Mississippi with the Skipper's. Survivors include her sons: Joseph Johnson of Cadillac and Scott (Heather) Johnson of Portage; 2 grandchildren: Trent Johnson and Shelby Johnson; as well as 2 cousins: Chris Swinney and Sara Swinney. Sandra was preceded in death by a son, Mark Mitchell. The family would like to thank Jerri Meyers and Vicki Bayard for all of their help and for being such great friends.In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
