Rose Dupuis

Rose A. Dupuis, age 80, of Bourbonnais, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Miller Rehabilitation Center. Rose was born on January 18, 1933 to Sam and Josephine (Rende) Mazza in St. Anne, IL. She married Walter A. Dupuis on May 9, 1953. Walter died on April 22, 2010. She was a microfilmer for Kraft General Foods for 12 years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed golfing.

Rose is survived by one daughter, Catherine (Ted) Hooker of Bourbonnais, IL; one son, Mark (Pam) Dupuis of Bradley, IL; three grandchildren, Danielle, Alyssa and Brendon; one brother, Jimmy Mazza of TX and one sister, Carmelle Coyne of TX. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Walter; one brother, Ralph Mazza and three sisters, Mary Kovista, Amelia Dennison and Theresa Taylor.

A gathering time for friends and family will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Home’s Bourbonnais Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Bourbonnais.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
