Robert was born on October 12, 1920 in Hebron, Indiana to Martha Wood and George Fisher. He married Agnes McPherson Reiniche on October 8, 1977. Robert was a driver for Butternut Bread Company for 25 years and a driver for Canteen Company for 20 years. He was a part-time school bus driver and retired in 1982. Mr. Fisher served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received a purple heart and bronze star. He attended Aroma Park United Methodist Church where he was a member of the United Methodist Men. He also was a member of the Jolly Sams Club and enjoyed travel, camping and playing cards.He is survived by his wife, Agnes, step-son, Gary Reiniche of Aroma Park, IL., step-daughters Susan Shoenbeck of Macon, GA., Terry Gollay of Rockwell, TX., and Lori Wenzelman of Channahon, IL., 8 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah Stone who died in 1966 and one sister, Jane Novy.
