Reverend Robert C. Kimber, age 83, of Zeeland, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 21, 2010.
Reverend Kimber and his wife, Jaunita Kimber, celebrated 65 years of marriage on October 13, 2010. She preceded him in death on Sunday, December 19, 2010.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during World War II.
Reverend Kimber and his wife moved from Holland to California and served churches in Oregon, Southern Illinois and Wisconsin. They moved back to Holland upon their retirement. He was a charter member of Ventura Baptist Church in Holland.
He is survived by his children, Robert W. and Eugenia Kimber of Gallatin, TN, Thomas L. Kimber of Holland, Susan L. and Rich Eenigenburg of Holland, Ruth P. and Don Smith of New Brighton, MN, Jim and Anjee Kimber of Dorr, 14 Grandchildren, 11 Great grandchildren, brother, Don and Mary Kimber of Zeeland.
Funeral services will be 1: 00 p. m. Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland. Visiting hours will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Yntema Funeral Home.
