Life Story / Obituary
Nick Brian Pangle was a spirited man who was successful in the ways that mattered most. His daughters meant the world to him, his wife was his true love, and his friends were always there for him. From his earliest years as a rambunctious boy to his pursuits as a young man, Nick lived his life to the fullest.
Nick Brian was born in Kankakee, Illinois to Brian Pangle and Daniella Mazzuchi-Harris on October 4, 1984, during a decade that has been tagged the “Me Generation.” Yet throughout his life, Nick was attentive to others. He was loyal to his family and friends and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.
When he was young, Nick distinguished himself as a terror on wheels. In other words, he was an energetic child who was constantly on the go. He channeled his enthusiasm into sports, becoming an avid fan of the Cubs and participating in Kankakee Little League. As a junior high school student at Bradley Central, he had one particularly stellar baseball game in which he hit three homeruns in a championship game!
Following high school, Nick worked in the restaurant business and as a food vendor. With that kind of a job, it was little wonder that he developed a sweet tooth and loved to cook, especially spicy food. His homemade grillin’ dinners were especially appreciated by the love of his life, Jessica Rock. Among his friends, Nick counted Craig, Misty, Anwar, and Adam as his closest, yet, when he met Jessica in 2007, she became his best friend and partner for life. The couple was married June 2, 2010 in Kankakee and celebrated by friends and family alike.
No matter what the occasion, Nick was delighted to be with his daughters, Angel and Serenity. Whether dancing or going to the park, he loved every moment of his time spent with them.
Nick Brian Pangle died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the age of 26. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
They include his wife, Jessica; two daughters, Angel and Serenity Pangle, both of Bradley, IL; his mother and step-father George and Daniella Harris of Bradley, IL; two sisters, Jessica Pangle of Bradley, IL and Randi Pangle of Arizona; brother, Anthony Mazzuchi of Bradley, IL; sister, Kacey Harris of Bradley, IL; brother, George Harris II of Bradley, IL; maternal grandparents, John and Sandy Mazzuchi of Bradley, IL; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Juanita Harris of Vienna, IL; paternal grandfather, Chuck Pangle of Bourbonnais, IL; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Brian Pangle, and his paternal grandmother, Pat Pangle.
