N. Jon Brand went to be with his Lord on Sept. 15th, 2023 in Port Orange, FL. He was born April 24, 1944 to Neil and Rena Brand in Kalamazoo, MI and was a MI native for the first 67 years of his life.
His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Marianne, sons Steven (Michelle) Brand, Charles Paul (Christi) Brand and daughter Julie (Jason) Foras, along with seven grandchildren: Jacob and Abigail Brand, Cole and Levi Brand, and Kathryn, Dominic and Isaac Foras. Also surviving is brother Michael (Sue) Brand, sister Jill (Gary) Ferdig and many nieces and nephews. His sister Linda Brand passed away three months prior to his death.
Jon was manager of the Kitchen Shop in Kalamazoo for 20 plus years and partnered with Marianne in selling real estate for Jaqua Realtors before retiring in 2008. He was a discussion leader in Bible study fellowship and served as a deacon at Calvary Bible Church. He was a kind man and a friend to all he met. The world was a better place with him in it. A Celebration of Life was held in Port Orange, FL.
