Martin Webber

Martin A. Webber passed away on January 29, 2009 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Manteno, Il. Martin worked at Ropers for 16 years, was a part time Postal worker in Herscher for 5 years, and also worked part time at Alexander Lumber in Herscher. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1956 during the Korean War. Martin is survived by four brothers, Ed (Jeanne) of Herscher, Robert (Thelma) of Herscher, James of Kankakee, and Wallace (Carol) of Herscher; two sisters, Kathleen (Robert) Jepsen of Herscher, and Lois Dionne of Herscher; a brother-in-law Robert Sorensen of Herscher; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Elma, and a sister Maxine Sorenson.
