Lawrence Bockheim

BOCKHEIM - Lawrence Gerard Bockheim, aged 49, of Grand Rapids, passed away at home Wednesday, August 5, 2009, after a short battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his brother, William. He is survived by his children, James (Catherine) Bockheim, Jennifer (Adam) Druckenmiller, Brian Bockheim, Marjorie (Rolando) Flores and their mother, Patricia; grand-children, Aleksandra, Aubriana, Lillia and Matthew; parents, Jerome and Dorothy Bockheim; sister, Eileen Bockheim; sister-in-law, Carol (Craig) Rothley; nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry was a graduate of Forest Hills Central Class of 1977 and worked for Owen-Ames-Kimball for 32 years. Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday, August 8, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE, Rev. James A. Chelich, presiding. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dominican Mission, Chimbote, Peru, South America and/or the Richard L.
