Kevin O'Donnell

Kevin J. O’Donnell, age 58, died December 5, 2010 at his home in Kalamazoo. He was born November 20, 1952 in Rockville Center, NY, the son of Algie and Charlotte (Richardson) O’Donnell. Kevin’s family will be available Saturday after 1pm with services starting at 2:00PM at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo; 6080 Stadium Drive, 375-2900. A reception in the Life Story Center will follow. Kevin played in many local bands with his greatest accomplishment being part of “Chester Classic”. He also provided music at many nursing homes. Kevin was the Activity Director at TLC and moved on to WMU Center for Disability Services, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed “jamming” with friends, fishing, spending time at his cabin and floating on his pontoon boat. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Beth O’Donnell; brother, Peter (Justine) O’Donnell; 2 nephews: Devin and Brendan and his 2 dogs: “Samantha” and “Mica”.
