John Stroo

John Stroo, aged 90, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2008. John served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII, and was the owner of Stroo's Footwear for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his children, John (Elaine) Stroo of Caledonia, Glennys (Myles) Kuperus of Hudsonville; his grandchildren, Christine Anderson, John A. and Robert K. Stroo, Erin L. and Kevin M. Kuperus; his great-grandchildren, Nicole and C.J. Anderson; sisters-in-law, Agnes VanderMolen, Kathleen Poll. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, at Stroo Funeral Home, with Rev. Brian Bosscher officiating. Interment in Blain Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hillcrest Christian Reformed Church Building Fund.
