Jill Stevens

Mrs. Jill H. Stevens, age 62, passed away Sunday morning, June 24, 2007 at her home. She was born February 4, 1945 to William and Wilma H. (Ashley) McCartney in Traverse City, and lived almost all of her life in the Muskegon area. Jill loved her family, and loved being with her grandchildren. On January 23, 1965 she married Charles E. Stevens. SURVIVORS include her husband Charlie; 1 son, John (Dawn) Stevens of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Sheri (Mike) Hofmeyer of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Shae Stevens and Alyssa Hofmeyer; mother-in-law, Lainys Stevens of Washington; sisters, Judy (Carl) Rosenburg of Muskegon, Janice (Tony) Nanna of Muskegon, Joan Ashley and Jerry Reilly of Kalamazoo; sister-in-law, Carolyn and Dan Shultz of Washington, Marilyn McCartney of Muskegon; brother-in-law, Mark Stevens of Washington; very special friend, Pat Huston of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill, Bob, and David McCartney; sisters, Ruth Parks, Mary Rokos, Anne Wright, Jane Lambert; and father-in-law, Harold Stevens. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Westwood Reformed Church, with Rev. David Willerup officiating.
