Jack Leach

Jack E. Leach, age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Laone Leach and his son, Steven Howard Leach. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Gloria and daughter, Susan (John) Garrett of St. Louis, MO. Jack was a graduate of Godwin High School and the University of Michigan. He worked for 40 years in industrial wood products retiring from Georgia Pacific as a Territorial Sales Manager. Memorial services will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church (3334 Breton Road S.E.). The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or the American Cancer Society in memory of Jack.
