Ingrid R. Brown

Ingrid R. Brown , age 71 , died Monday November 15, 2010, at the Lifespan Hospice Residence of Battle Creek, Ingrid was born July 17, 1939 in Hackenheim, Germany to Heinrich and Karoline Enders and came to America in 1962. Ingrid was a caregiver to both children and seniors for many years. She was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ingrid is survived by her daughter , Karoline R. (Drew) Kinnisten of Battle Creek, sons; George C. (Dawn) Brown of Meridian, MS Michael D. Brown of Abscoda, MI, Patrick J. (Dawn) Brown of Colorado Springs, CO. and Dieter D. Brown of Battle Creek, and nine grandchildren. Ingrid is preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Brown in 1995 and a brother, Heinz-Theo Enders. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service 223 N. Bedford Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Robert Creagan officiating. Interment to follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
