Florence Voss

Florence Voss, age 96, of Holland, died Saturday, August 13, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore “ Ted” in 1998; parents, Fred and Sena Bouwman; brother, Rod Bouwman and sisters, Reva Vande Wege and Alice Nieboer.

Ted and Florence were the founders of Voss Sep­tic Systems.

Florence was a charter member of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church and the Mary So­ciety.

She is survived by her children, Ron and Mary Voss, David and Pat Voss, Dawn and Doug Schur­man; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson; brothers, Bernard and Mary Bouwman, Justin and Lucille Bouwman; in- laws, Ruth Bouwman, Gertrude Voss, Ernest and Lucille Voss all of Hol­land; several nieces and nephews.

Appreciation is ex­pressed to the staff of Ap­pledorn Living Center for their attentive care and concern for Florence these past 7 years.

Funeral services will be 7 p. m. Tuesday, Au­gust 16, 2011, at Mara­natha Christian Reformed Church, 918 Central Ave. Holland with Rev. Mat­thew J. Stob officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visita­tion will be at the church from 5-7 p. m. prior to the service. Memorial contri­butions may be given to Holland Christian Schools or Hospice of Holland. The family is being served by Langeland- Sterenberg Funeral Home.
