Ethel Hanners

Ethel Lula Hanners, age 89, of Bradley, IL. passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Bradley Royale Nursing Home in Bradley, IL. She was born on May 23, 1921 in Mathews, MO. to Johnny and Rosey Bonds. On September 24, 1938 she married Hurshel Hanners in Jackson, MO. Ethel was a member of Manteno Church of God, enjoyed crafts, making dolls, sewing and making things without having a pattern. Ethel is survived by her sons; Dean (Joy) Hanners of Boswell, IN., Charles (Kathy) Mooresville, N.C., Daniel (Doreen) Hanners of Zion, IL., David (Donna) Hanners of Kankakee, IL., John (Donna) Martinton, IL., and Dale (Laurie) Hanners of Manteno, IL., a daughter Rosetta (Gene) McHugh of Martinton, IL., daughters-in-law; Betty Hanners of Traverse City, MI. and Charlott Hanners of Bradley, IL., brothers; Henry (Cana) Bonds of Bourbonnais, IL., Cecil (Gloria) Bonds of Johnson City, IL., and Billie Bonds of Herrin, IL., a sister Pauline Stevens of Cape Girardeau, MO., 20 grandchildrn, 32 great -grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hurshel, parents Johnny and Rosey Bonds, sisters Marie Benn, Dorothy Mae James, and Ossie Enders, brothers Jimmie Bonds and Melvin Bonds, and a great-grandson Logan Ryan Adams.
