Dolores Grabowski

Dolores T. Grabowski, age 86, of Kalamazoo, MI formerly of Naples, FL Dolores passed away on Friday evening at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born on February 16, 1929 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Szymanski) Michlewicz. On September 9, 1951, Dolores was united in marriage to William F. Grabowski. She was employed by Ford Motor Co. for over 20 years until her retirement in 1990. Dolores was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Naples, FL and Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile, MI. Surviving are her four children: Claire (Pete) Feczko of Chicago, IL, Ken (Kathleen) Grabowski of Portage, Dan (Cheryl) Grabowski of Vicksburg and Dave (Karen) Grabowski of DeWitt; seven grandchildren: Matthew (Ali), Julia and Andrea Feczko, and Brent, Kimberly, Dana, and Adam Grabowski; three great-grandchildren: Stella, Hazel, and Rooney Feczko; brother: Eugene Michlewicz of St. Clair Shores, MI; sisters-in-law, Mary Michle and Shirley Olenchak; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband of 46 years, William Grabowski; her parents; and brother, Donald Michle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 5, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 PM on Friday with a 7:30 PM rosary at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue and 10-11 AM on Saturday, Sept. 5 at the church. Private family interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church or Friendship Village Friends Fund.
