Dan Burton, 59, of Hustonville, Kentucky died Thursday, February 8, 2007 at his home.
He was born May 27, 1947 in Battle Creek, the son of Earl and Birdine (Surine) Burton.
Dan was a graduate of Lakeview High School and had worked at Steadman's, Allan Packing, United Steel & Wire and the Laurels of Galesburg.
Surviving are his son: Brian (Tina) Burton and their daughter, Nicole of Battle Creek; two adopted sons: Danny Burton and his daughters, Donna and Christina and Victor Burton all of Kalamazoo; companion, Linda McKnight of Kentucky; brother: Richard (Nancy) Burton of Battle Creek; four sisters: Paulette (Lawrence) Leonard of Battle Creek, Bev (Ed) Hurst of North Carolina, Carolyn (Frank) Gammon of Florida and his twin sister, Linda (Bill) Ayers of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and his first wife, Jennifer (Evans) Paige.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Donna Burton and second wife: Vickie Burton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
