Born October 29, 1933. Went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2025. She never lost her faith in spite of the many trials she suffered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Thelma Foghino; brothers, John and Jim Foghino; husband, Maurice; son, William; grandsons, Freddy and Joseph; daughter in law, Karen. She is survived by her son, Michael (Kerry); daughter, Susan (Jeff) Sackett; son, Peter (Barb); daughter Karen (Mike) Bonn; brother, Thomas (Jean) Foghino; 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Daisy spent her life as a loving mother and wife. She spent 30 plus years in the Portage Public Schools Transportation Department as a bus driver and a secretary and dispatcher. She was married to Maurice for 44 years and enjoyed being involved in all their kids' sports, bowling, and spending time building their cabin in Irons. After Maurice's passing, she traveled to many world locations with her friend Ann Williams. The family would like to thank the staff at Story Point Portage, Independent Living and Memory Care for their kindness and loving care of Daisy. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 5PM to 7PM, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and cremation services, 411 East Centre Avenue, Portage, Michigan 49002. A Rosary service will take place the same day, 7PM, at the same location. A Funeral Mass will take place the following day, Thursday, April 3, 2025, 11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49001. Immediately following Mass, family invites anyone to stay for lunch at the same location. A Graveside Service will take place following lunch at Riverside Cemetery, 333 West Michigan Avenue, Three Rivers, Michigan 49093.
