Craig Schipper

Died Thursday afternoon December 3, 2009. Skip was born June 18, 1954 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of William Jr. and Ardeth "A.J."(Doezema) Schipper. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Humphrey Products for 30 years. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, golfing, camping, and listening to classic music. Craig was a fun-loving guy who loved to laugh and hang out with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, William Schipper, Jr. in 1985. He is survived by two daughters, Breenne Schipper of Vicksburg, Callee (Kevin) Roodbergen of Vicksburg; two grandchildren; his mother, Ardeth "A.J." Schipper of Kalamazoo; three brothers, Paul (Nadine) Schipper of Seattle, WA, Kevin Schipper of Kalamazoo, and Shawn (Marian) Schipper of Richland; a sister, Shelly Schipper-Barnes of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the M.A.D.D.
