Bruce Case

Bruce Case, age 52, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, May 30 peacefully. Bruce was born March 21, 1962 in Three Rivers. Bruce graduated from Climax-Scotts High School in 1980. He worked at Walmart in Battle Creek. He was formally with the Meijer Corporation out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is survived by; his parents Merle and Carole (Schug) Case of Scotts; brother Scott (Carol) Case of Galesburg; sister Amy (Gregory) Hoffman of St. Clair Shores; nephew Ryan Hoffman; niece Lauren Hoffman; step nieces and their children Kari Wickliffe and Samantha Pierman, Heather (Tony) Russell and Madison and Cameron Russell; and several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Vere and Emma (LaVoy) Schug, Archie and Olive (Simmons) Case; and several uncles, aunt and cousin. Cremation has taken place through Purse Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at The United Methodist Church Education building in Climax on Saturday, July 5th at 12:30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Haven's Life Recovery Program in Battle Creek.
