Barbara H. Johnson was born in Chicago on December 5, 1931 to Elizabeth and John Wagner. She died March 18, 2025 in Lawton, Michigan.
She is survived by her stepdaughter Dixie Petrucci Blue, two sons and two grandchildren. Barb is also survived by stepsons, Rick, Russ, Randy, and Rollie Johnson and their wives and 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in death by her spouses Ernest F. Petrucci and Donald A. Johnson; her parents; sisters Elizabeth Magyar, Ann Sigardson, Rosalind Wagner, and Frances Bonomo; and brother Dr. John Wagner. Her step-grandson Don A. Johnson also preceded her in death.
She was very active at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Paw Paw. Barb organized a "Cookie Walk" to raise money for St. Mark's for over 30 years. Many members of her family have fond memories of helping to bake her contribution of 50 dozen cookies each year for the event.
Her family is honoring her request to be cremated and have her ashes placed in the church next to her husband Don on May 3, 2025 following the Memorial Service.
