Arthur A. Menard

Arthur A. Menard, 85 of Bourbonnais, Il.,passed away at Our Lady of Victory Nursing Home on July 1, 2006.He was born on March 8, 1921, the son of Fred & Blanche Forgue Menard.Arthur married Dorothy Chinski on April 10, 1944.He was a union carpenter for local # 272 and worked for various employers.He was in the US Coast Guard in WW2, and in the US Army during the Korean war.Arthur is a member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church in Kankakee.He is a member of the VFW, Aroma Park American Legion, was a White Sox fan, and enjoyed feeding the birds and squrals.Survivors: Son: Verl Menard of Weston, Co.Sisters: Bernadette Johnston of Bradley, Il., Sr. Jerome Marie Menard of the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary, Kankakee, Il.Brother: Jerome Menard of Bourbonnais, Il.Other survivers are numerous nieces and nephews.Preceeded in death: Parents, Brothers; Lionel, Alvedor, Raphael, Bernard, Alfred, Jerome D.Menard, and Sisters, LeaBell McGrath, Stella O'Lena, Theresa Menard.
