Anthony Daidone

Anthony Daidone, age 88, of Bourbonnais, IL., formerly of Richton Park, IL. passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at his home in Bourbonnais, IL. Anthony was born on January 8, 1923 in Villa Rosa, Italy, the son of Giacamo and Mary Daidone. He served in the United States Army, was an accomplished entrepreneur having owned a bar/restaurant the Rib Hut as well as D & D Liquors both in Richton Park, IL. Most recently Anthony worked as a Sheriff Deputy for Cook County. He was an avid golfer and even worked as a ranger at Bon Vivant to enable more golf time. He is survived by his children; Jack Daidone of Bourbonnais, IL., Colleen Bisenieks of Los Angeles, CA., Dennis (Nancy) Monstvil of Warren OR., Elaine (David) Brouwer of Richton Park, IL., Lisa (Michael) Hubbs of Oceanside, CA., and Pamela Wood of Sillwater, MN., a brother Alfred (Arlene) Daidone of Oak Forest, IL., 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Ardys Daidone, a son Mark Monstvil, a grandson John Monstvil, a sister Carmella Smiley, and brothers Mike, Sam, and Charlie Daidone.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 12pm-1:30pm at Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes Bourbonnais Chapel.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 2pm at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais, IL.
