Anne Visser

Passed away July 29, 2008 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Anne was born December 25, 1958 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Burton and Madge (Blair) Aalbregtse and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. She graduated from Loy Norrix High School in 1977 and received her computer programming degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Anne was employed for nine years at Ronnigen-Peter and later part-time at Visser Construction and Lakeshore Condominiums in St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her parents. On December 21, 1984, she was married to Dan Visser, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Michele Visser of Kalamazoo and a son, Chad (Jaime) Visser of Kalamazoo; two grandchildren, Jackson and Tessa Visser; a sister, Janette (Peter) Slinn of Seattle, WA and a brother, R. John (Dora) Aalbregtse of Chicago, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1PM Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. with the Rev. Theda McBryde, Chaplain for Hospice Care of S.W. Michigan, officiating. Friends may meet the family today from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Westside Chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Anne's memory be made to: the American Cancer Society or Hospice Care of S.W. Michigan.
