Angela was born February 19, 1967 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Regina Briggs and Michael Dyas, and she passed away July 6, 2010 in Kalamazoo. Angela was a lifelong Kalamazoo resident who dearly loved her family, friends, and her two cats, Destiny and Feet. She enjoyed going to the Kalamazoo Nature Center and was a member of the Kalamazoo Astronomical Society. Angela has been employed with Healthcare Midwest the past five years. Surviving are her mother, Regina (Larry) Briggs; her father, Michael Dyas; her brothers and sister, Jamie (Pam) Briggs, Lisa (Chris) Campbell, Daniel (Lourdes) Briggs, Matthew (Melissa) Briggs, Ashley Briggs; nieces and nephews, Cassandra, Austin and Tyler Briggs, Keegan Campbell, Andrea and Dylan Briggs; and many special friends. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where a service to celebrate her life will be held 10 AM Saturday with Father David Grondz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
