Alexander Wilczynski

Alexander W. Wilczynski, age 91, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008, at St. Ann's Home. He was a beloved and devoted husband of Eleanor Usakowski. Alex was preceded in death by his first wife, Leone Soltysiak. He is survived by his family, Leon and Elaine of New Orleans, LA, Roger and Diana Wilczynski of Belmont, MI, Tom and Laura Usakowski, Mary Bergers, and Ann Usakowski; grandchildren, Christine Vogel, Danielle Wilczynski, Erinn Neyrey, Michelle Perez, Barbara Keller, Scott Kavalvskis, Nicholas Mesman, Greg Bergers, Daniel, Matthew, and Evelyn Usakowski; eight great grandchildren. Al was a retired employee of Sackner Products, with over 42 years of service. He was a lifelong active parishioner and usher at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for over 69 years. A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel of St. Ann's Home, where Tuesday, he will repose one hour prior. His family will receive visitors Monday, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW, where a vigil service will be held Monday, 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Inhouse Hospice Solutions or Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
