Russell Mawby

Dr. Russell G. "Russ" Mawby, age 89, Chariman Emeritus of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and a former Corporal in the United States Army, died Friday evening, October 20, 2017 at Borgess Gardens, Kalamazoo, MI, following a brief illness and with his loving family at his side. The Memorial Service to celebrate Russ' life will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center-Kellogg Hall, 6225 North 39th Street, Augusta, MI 49012 with the Rev. Shawn L. Raifsnider, Pastor of the Yorkville Community Church, officiating and with a reception to immediately follow the Service. Russ' family will greet friends on Friday, October 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 105 Capital Avenue, NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017. Private, Family interment will be held in Yorkville Cemetery, Ross Township with military honors bestowed by the United States Army Honor Guard.
