Rowena Hughes

HUGHES - Rowena Hughes, age 77, of Howard City, passed away March 27 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. She enjoyed word searches, bowling, country music, soap operas and her pet cats and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are three daughters, Penny (Harold) Larson of Howard City, Delores (Dennis) Ellis of Grand Junction CO, Betty Johnson of Commerce City CO; two sons, Harold (Babe) (Patricia) Hixon of TN, Dale (Elly) of Bovey MN; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harol and two brothers . Funeral services will take place in Coleraine Minnesota on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Peterson Funeral home and burial in the Lakeview Cemetery in MN. Visitation will take place at the Heckman Funeral home in Howard City on ( Today ) Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Peterson Funeral Home in Minnesota.
