Robert Meeuwsen

Robert Meeuwsen, 79, of Sebring, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in Tampa, FL. He was born August 19, 1928 to Cornelius and Gertrude (Rikkers) Meeuwsen in Grand Rapids, MI, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2005, coming from Homestead, FL. He was Owner and Operator of Keyline Trucking in Grand Rapids, MI, and had also worked at General Motors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. Mr. Meeuwsen is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine E. Meeuwsen; son, James Robert (Gerri) Meeuwsen, Lowell, MI; brother, Wayne Meeuwsen, Ionia, MI; sisters, Esther Newell, Lowell, MI, Beatrice Hoekstra, San Antonio, TX, and Ruth Wood, Lowell, MI; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Heckman, in 1989. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
