Richard Dalman, age 66 of Zeeland, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 in Grand Rapids. Rich touched many lives in his 66 years. He had a passion for family, bowling, golf and his church. He had an amazing faith in God, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Hilda; niece, Doris; son-in-law, Robert; brother, Larry and sister and brother in law, Jim and Joyce Handwerg.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue; children, Debra and Brian Hickerty, Todd and Jilaynne Dalman, Dena Schumaker; 12 grandchildren; sister, Ruth Dalman; brother, Dean and Debra Dalman; sister-in-law, Nancy Dalman; sister- inlaw, Donna and Ron Wagner; brothers-in-law, Terry and Betty Handwerg, Fred and Connie Handwerg, Michael Handwerg and Marc and Phyllis Handwerg; many nieces and nephews and cousins, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Victory Point Church, 11530 Ransom Street, Holland MI 49424. Pastor Steve Rusticus will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and again at 6-8 p.m.
