Reverend Ernest Klein, age 93 of Zeeland passed away Friday, January 30, 2009.
He served as an ordained elder in the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Clio, Croswell and Wyoming. He was a graduate of the Owosso Bible College. He was a member of the Holland Church of the Nazarene. Prior to him entering in the ministry he farmed in the Hamilton area.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Susie; daughters: Muriel and Lealend Studaker of Croswell, MI, Elaine and Paul Miller of Wyoming, MI; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; Sister: Josephine and Earl Mulder of Beaverdam; In-laws: Florence Engelsman of Dorr, Henry Lubbers of Zeeland, Donna Engelsman of Zeeland, Dorothy Engelsman of Zeeland and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Holland Church of the Nazarene with the Reverends Harold Meyers and Mary Lou Rutgers officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State St. Zeeland. Burial will be in Bentheim Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Mel Trotter Ministries or a charity of one’s choice.
