Peter Kuipers

Mr. Peter Kuipers, aged 80, of Kentwood, was met in heaven on Monday, May 5, 2008 by his heavenly Father and his loving family members who preceded him in death: sons, Jerry and Gordon; parents, Abram and Nellie; brothers and sister, Alfred, John, Stena, Nelson, and Harold. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 58 years, Nora Mae (Bode); his children, Debbie and Larry Blauwkamp, Marilyn and Rob Hover, Marcia and John Schauer, Lisa and Steve Page; grandchildren, Faith (Matthew) Wlodarczak, Jennifer Blauwkamp, Josh (Kelly) Hover, Brooke (John) Honeysett, Katy and Michael Schauer, Olivia and Douglas Page; great grandchildren, Aiden and Jaxson; sisters and brothers, Jeanette (Case) Koetje, Jim (Harriet) Kuipers, Agnes (Rich) Euwema, Don (Carol) Kuipers; in-laws, Richard Gruessing, Harriet Kuipers, John (Grace) Warsen, Gladys Kuipers; and the Bode family. Peter was a veteran of WWII, retired from Steelcase, and was a faithful member of Fifth Reformed Church. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at Fifth Reformed Church, 2012 Griggs SE, with Rev. Bruce Mulder and Rev. Thurman Rynbrandt officiating.
