Peter Bloem

Mr. Peter Bloem, aged 69, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nichole Yarrington and granddaughter, Bethany Bloem. Surviving are his son, Mark A. (Svetlana) Bloem; grandchildren, Dylan, Josie Yarrington; brothers, Dirk (Julie), Bert (Sharon), Paul (Ohnalee), James, George (Martha), David (Lois); sisters, Nellie Clark, Irena (John) Girschle, Anna Bloem, Ruth Houtman; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bloem retired from Steelcase after 34 years of service. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
