Patsy was born December 18, 1929 to Curtis and Doris (Sechrest) Lawrence in DeSoto, IL. She married Charles E. Ed Benoit, February 25, 1978 in Kankakee, Illinois.She was a waitress for many years at the Moose Lodge and the Elks Country Club and worked for the Republican Central Committee. Patsy was a people person who enjoyed nothing more that a strong cup of coffee and good conversation.She is survived by her husband of Manteno IL., son Jude and Letha Hamilton of Clifton IL., her daughter Mari and Jim Gromer of Kankakee IL. Also surviving are 3 Grandsons, Adam Gromer and Nicholas and Robert Hamilton, 2 Great Grandchildren Tyler Herling and Maria Manella along with her best friend Norma Simmons of Bradley.She was preceded in death by her parents.
