Michael Aguilar-Emmons

AGUILAR, MICHAEL JONATHAN AGUILAR-EMMONS, ROMAN JAGGER Michael Jonathan Aguilar, aged 22, and Roman Jagger Aguilar-Emmons, aged 18, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 3, 2014. They were preceded in death by their grandfathers, Lester Nelson Emmons, Jr. and Miguel Aguilar. Michael is survived by his father and mother, Manuel Aguilar and Claudia Salvatierra; sister, Monica Maria Aguilar; brothers, Manuel David Aguilar, Joseph Adam Aguilar; and niece, Mariela Aguilar. Roman is survived by his father and mother, Ascencion Aguilar and Bethany Vail; brothers, Kevin Pelfrey and Gerardo Aguilar-Guevara; sisters, Nicole (Jorge) Contreras, Brooke Lynn Aguilar and Natalie Aguilar-Guevara; nephew, Kayden Lucas; and niece and nephew, Jazmyn and Jayden Contreras. Roman was a senior at Grandville High School with plans to join the Police Academy after graduation. Michael and Roman are a tremendous loss to their families and communities. Funeral services for Michael and Roman will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at Church of the Nazarene, 2545 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and also at the church on Saturday from 11 AM - 1 PM prior to the service.
