Mary O"Flaherty

Passed away Friday, May 13, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mary was born in Lombard, IL, March 5, 1922. She was a member of St. John Bosco Church, Mattawan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. O'Flaherty in 1971, a grandson, a brother and a sister. Surviving are four sons and two daughters, including a daughter and her husband of Galesburg, Sue O'Flaherty and Randy Van Avery; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother; a sister; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. O'Flaherty has been taken to the Donohue-Cecere Funeral Home in Westbury, Long Island, NY where visitation will take place on Monday, May 23 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by services at St. Bridget Church at 11 a.m. Mary will be buried with her husband in the family lot a Holy Rood Cemetery. A memorial mass will be held in Kalamazoo at a date to be announced. Local arrangements by JOLDERSMA & KLEIN 917 S. Burdick 343-2628.
