Kay Arlene (Bennett) Clous, aged 85 of Kalamazoo, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord on July 21, 2024. Born on January 31, 1939, in Greenville, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Eldon and Madeline (Slocum) Bennett. Kay graduated from Kingsley High School in 1957 and furthered her education at Northwestern Michigan College. She dedicated 31 years of faithful service as the office manager at K-mart before retiring. On June 21, 1958, Kay married her cherished husband, DuWayne "Duey" Clous, and together they shared 66 years of blessed companionship. A devout follower of Christ, Kay worshipped at 12th Street Baptist Church in the summer and Trinity Fellowship Church in Florida during the winter months. Her deep passion was studying the Word of Jesus Christ and spending cherished hours in prayer. Kay's devotion extended to her community. She achieved a personal milestone by riding her three-wheeled bicycle over 1000 miles in one summer. Kay's life radiated with love for her family, who were a testament to her unwavering faith in the Lord. She is survived by her loving husband, DuWayne "Duey" Clous, her children: Dean (Joan) Clous, Audrey (Willard) Bronk, Caron (John) Van Asperen, and Paul (Cheryl) Clous, along with her eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her dear sister, Myrna Akin. In celebrating Kay Arlene Clous's life, we remember her as a devoted servant of God, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who exemplified the joy and peace found in her Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Location, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, with Dr. Thaddeus Stout officiating.
