Julia Awe

Passed away August 8, 2013. Julia was born May 8, 1927, in Colon, MI. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Clella Yeatter. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; brothers, Rod and John; and her infant son, Eric, in 1948. Julia graduated from Colon High School in 1944 and Tracy Beauty Academy in 1961. She had her own beauty salon until 1974. Julia married Frank Awe on June 14, 1946. They lived in Colon, Parchment, Paw Paw and Gobles. Surviving are her daughters, Shari (Robert) Reese of Evert, WA, Deborah (Larry) Goostrey of Gobles; son, Jeffery (Robin) Awe of Grand Junction; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Gobles Chapel, D. L.
