Judy Gail Barve

Judy Gail Barve of Lansing, MI, born December 16, 1944 in Battle Creek, MI; peacefully slipped into the presence of her Lord on April 4, 2007 in Lansing, MI, at the age of 62.

Judy loved music and was a versatile musician. She enjoyed traveling, scrap booking, sewing and ceramics. Above all else, Judy was a member of the Dansville Free Methodist Church where she was a supportive minister's wife, and a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Bette Hapner; and son, Michael Barve. Surviving are her cherished husband, Pastor Vernon Barve; daughters, Faith (John) McCallum of Midland, Bette Rautenberg of Mason, and Rebekah (Scott) Wallace of Springfield, MO; son, David (Debbie) Barve of Mio; 11 grandchildren; and sister, Sue (Steve) Ratliff of Battle Creek.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Dansville Free Methodist Church, 1330 Mason St., Dansville with the Rev. Ron Arnett of Holt Assembly of God officiating. The family will receive friends at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for future designation.
