Mr. John C. Cray passed away February 04, 2012 of Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) in Ruskin, Fl. He was born June 14, 1944. Married Patricia Cole-Cray, August 31, 2000. He is survived by mother, Lena Belle (Robert) Cray-Latterner; sisters, Marilyn (David) Goldsmith, Nancy (Thomas) Pickare, Beverly (Dick) Wiersma and Dawn (Dan) Barkley. Daughters, Kathy (Anthony) VerHey, Christine Whaley and Jacqueline (Roland) Scheible. Step-children, Tim and Jim Polomczak and Joni (Brad) Polomczak-Plunkett. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Employed at Gibson Guitar for five years and Consumers Concrete Sand and Gravel Corp. for 37 years. Memorial Service will be held saturday, April 07, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Reformed Church, Decatur, Mi., 319 1/2 W. Delaware Street. Memorial contributions can be made to the ALS Association, First Reformed Church or Southwest Mi. Hospice Care
