Ingeburg M. Schlueter

Passed away December 2, 2005 at Upjohn Community Care Center. Inge was born December 21, 1921 in Hamburg, Germany, the daughter of Otto and Louise Ewers. Inge was married to Erich Schlueter on May 10, 1951, who preceded her in death on January 8, 2004. Other members of her family who survive include a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Sharyn Schlueter of Portage, MI; a daughter and son-in-law, Birgit and Roger Kaiser of Angola, IN; four grandchildren, Kevin Schlueter of Allendale, MI, Laura Schlueter of Portage, MI, Erich and Heather Kaiser of Angola, IN, and Anna Jo (Kaiser) and Joe Creager of Fremont, IN; a brother-in-law, Hans Luehrs of Taylor, MI; and a niece and nephew, Karen Luehrs of Westland, MI, and Klaus Luehrs of Taylor, MI. Inge is also survived by Helga Hentschke of Mattawan, MI, a close friend who visited her often. At the request of the family, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Heritage Community of Kalamazoo Foundation, 2400 Portage Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.
