Gordon Klahn

Gordon Alan Klahn, aged 51, of Lowell, passed away September 26, 2007. He was born May 20, 1956, in Grand Rapids, the son of Frederick Boyd and Darlene Ann (Smith) Klahn. He married Carolyn Hawley April 11, 2002, in Las Vegas. He graduated from Lowell High school in 1975. Gordon farmed with his family all of his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Klahn, of Lowell; sons, Kevin Klahn of Clarksville, and Eric Klahn of Lowell; step-daughter, Yvonne Hawley of Grand Rapids; brothers, Doug Klahn and Tina Mott of Clarksville, and David and Julie Klahn of Clarksville; one grand-daughter, Morgan; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Charles Klahn. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at Saranac Community Church with Rev. John Madvig officiating. Interment at South Boston Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
