George Isler

ISLER, MR. GEORGE G. Wyoming George G. Isler, age 90, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his son, Burt Isler. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Barbara; his sons, Jerry (Linda) Isler, John (Patty) Isler, Jim (Nancy) Isler; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Peek. George was a veteran of WW II, lifetime member of VFW 702 and retired from ConRail after 41 years. He was a charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Funeral services for George will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE with Rev. Mike Wernich officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home Wednesday 6-8 pm and Thursday from 10 am until the time of service.
