Obituary
Frank Kuhlman, 90, of Centralia, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital, Centralia, Ill. He was born in Kingsley on Aug. 1, 1918, to James and Katherine (Ockert) Kuhlman.
Frank married Esther Ortman on June 26, 1952, in Carlyle, Ill. They lived in Carlyle, Ill., until 1975, when they moved to Centralia, Ill.
He most recently worked as a service technician at Gibson's Appliance.
Frank attended St. Mary's Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Carlyle, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Kuhlman of Centralia, Ill.; sons, Frank (Peggy) Kuhlman of Traverse City, Victor (special friend, Donna) Kuhlman of Centralia, Ill., and Vincent Kuhlman of Centralia, Ill.; daughter, Dorothy Kuhlman; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Kuhlman and Jerry Kuhlman, both of Traverse City; and sisters, Rita Hennessey of Niceville, Fla., Delores Boyle of Livonia and Brigid Hinkley of Mt. Pleasant.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bernard Kuhlman, James Kuhlman, Joseph Kuhlman and Dan Kuhlman; and grandson, Mitch Kuhlman.
Memorial services will be held today, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Father Justin Olisaemeka will officiate.
Memorials may be considered to St. Mary's Church for Masses.
