Eleanor Selzer

Eleanor F. Selzer, aged 84, of Grand Rapids and formerly of Newaygo, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008. She is survived by her children, Mary Allen, David Selzer, Joseph (Barbara) Selzer, Michael (Lu Ann) Selzer, Thomas (Sue) Selzer; grandchildren, Michelle (Scott Stephens) Selzer, Michael (Shelly) Selzer Jr. Nicole Selzer, Anthony (Maria) Selzer, Bobbie (John) Faulkenberg, Stacy (Rudy) Noorlander, Emily Hankinson, Elizabeth Hankinson; great-grandchildren, Linnea Stephens, Alex Selzer, Tori and Ethan Faulkenberg, Jeremy, Katelynn, Ashley, Matthew Noorlander and Lauren Hankinson; brother, Richard "Dick" Marten; also many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Marten; sister-in-law, Peggy Marten; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Linda Marten; also Frank R. Selzer. Eleanor was a WWII U.S. Naval Nurse Corps Veteran. Memorials may be made to Sylvia's Place, P.O. Box 13, Allegan, MI 49010. According to the wishes of the family cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Marten Cemetery, Deer Park, WA. The family will greet relatives and friends at a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
